Corbin Hodges, DVM


Dr. Hodges received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University in 2005. Dr. Hodges joined Piper Heritage Veterinary Clinic in 2007 after practicing in the Reno, Nevada area for two years. He purchased Piper Heritage from Dr. Smith in December of 2012 and is currently the Medical Director. He has a special interest in orthopedics and dentistry. When not practicing, Dr. Hodges enjoys fishing, playing with his children and working on home improvement projects.


Brooke Lewis, DVM


Dr. Lewis joined Piper Heritage in June of 2019. She graduated from K-State and has been practicing in Kansas City since 2004. She enjoys getting to know pet owners and strengthening the human-animal bond through preventative medicine. Her favorite thing about being a veterinarian is being able to advocate for her patients and the variety that daily practice gives her. When not working she enjoys spending time with her husband, keeping up with her children’s variety of activities, and spending time with their medley of pets including a rescued pug, two cats, and a golden cornsnake.


Jeremiah Nilges, DVM


Dr. Nilges graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. He practiced in Arizona for two years before coming back to the Kansas City area. Dr. Nilges has worked at Piper Heritage since 2013. Dr. Nilges has a professional interest in ophthalmology. When not at the clinic Dr. Nilges enjoys attending K-State sporting events, outdoor sports and helping coach his children’s little league teams.


Dr. Williams, DVM


Dr. Williams graduated from Kansas State University in 2021. She worked as an assistant at Piper Heritage between semesters of veterinary school and was hired on as a veterinarian in June of 2021. She enjoys establishing relationships with owners and their pets and seeing the special bond between them. When not working, Dr. Williams enjoys running, hiking, and spending time outside with her husband and golden retriever Rylie.
